Reem Mouasher

Reem Mouasher is a Jordanian-Palestinian artist and painter based in Amman, Jordan. Her work has been exhibited in galleries across the Arab world and in online group shows. Mouasher’s work embraces her native land as the complex and multifaceted destination it is: one both haunted by bygone eras and yet brimming with possibility. Drawing on both her pastoral and urbanite Levantine heritage, Mouasher’s works explore the beauty of the region’s cities, people, and nature. Mouasher holds a BFA in Studio Art and Art History from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, and a masters in Education for the University of Phoenix, Arizona. She is a board member of LOYAC, Jordan, where she works to empower youth through programs that teach valuable skills and increase personal agency.
